catching up

Hello out there in bloggyland!
Do you write posts in your head.. say when you are in the shower or making your bed.. then get distracted and never post them? I do.
Do you have a dozen or so unfinished posts in your draft folder and by the time you return to finish them the information is not really relevant? I do.
I cannot promise that I have re-entered the blogosphere for good, or if this is just another cybervacation.

Since I last posted..

We prepared our hearts in Advent celebrated Christmas
rung in the new year (quietly)

celebrated three birthdays.. two at the same time because, well, two of us are 19 hours apart.

and one of them three times over.. because well, that is what we do around here. One celebration on the actual birthdate. One birthday lunch with Nana and always a weekend celebration with Memere et Pepere.
We journeyed through those 40 days of lent and joyously celebrated Easter.

It was all good.

Since I last posted.. I gained my "footing" again.
The crutches went into storage.. hopefully for good.

Since I last posted, our family has adjusted to a major schedule change for work.
I'm still adjusting. I think we all are.

Since I last posted, I became very quiet online. I have no idea why. I lost my "voice" to leave comments on other blogs or share a thought at the forum.
I did pra
y for all of the intentions, but I just couldn't find my fingers to type any responses.

Since I last posted, I gained new perspectives.
I don't know.. but I think I came a bit closer to conquering some of my struggles.
Oh, just little things like perfectionism and measuring myself with other's yardsticks.
I am learning that there are an abundance of graces available each and every day.
The key is learning to RELY on those GRACES.. each and every day.

Other than Holy Mass and the grocery store, I have been a homebody.
This wintery winter took hold of me and has hastened to let go.
I am anticipating the sweetness of spring more this year than ever. Are you?

I hope this post has found you well. Thank you for stopping by!
Peace and all good to you and your dear ones.
