Six years ago today I was in set into labor with our sweet Maximilian. At two weeks overdue, he was just so content to stay nestled inside. He was my first baby to be delivered without an epidural. He was such a joyful baby and he is still a delight to our family! 
When his little sister arrived, he was immediately her most fierce protector.
Taking care of sister is one of the things he does best.
Here he is with his close buddy, Pier-Jérôme.
