Sunday Pictures

Every Sunday our children are dressed up for holy mass. Theoretically, an ideal opportunity to take photos, especially in summer because Sunday Donuts in the Hall after Mass are on break until fall, so no donut mess on the faces and shirts. At least that is what is in the back of my mind on the way home each week.

Rarely do things go as I planned.
I'm told Jesus forgot to mention one of the Beatitudes: Blessed are those who expect nothing for they shall not be disappointed.
Usually, before I can fetch the camera, the Sunday clothes are exchanged for clothes that are better for play (just don't look at Maximilian's grass stained knee, I think he forgot..)

Today, I voiced my intentions of catching a few snapshots of our little ones. Daddy offered to take some photos since I had to quickly drop something off to a home around the corner.

Later, when I viewed the photos, of course I was delighted to have new photos of our Sweet Treasures to print up for relatives. But where, I asked, are the individual photos of each child? Individual shots, he says with a raised eyebrow..ohhhh, they are a package deal, don't I know??? Ah, well, there is always next Sunday! ...if I'm lucky.

Great pictures! They're adorable. I can tell they're Alton Brown fans.
