Our Good Friday Lenten Tea

Elaina's Godmother and her son (our Godson), their sweet baby and their Easter guest joined us for a Second Lenten Tea on Good Friday. The photo of the group holding their "centurians" is a bit dark because of the way the light shines in at that hour of the day (not to mention my lack of photography skills..). I had a bit of help with preparations as Julian drew the skulls on the Golgotha Eggs with the food marker.

We planned on a Three O'Clock Tea, however, Stations of the Cross at our parish was at that time so we held the Tea first. A special time was had by all. Elaina's Godmother, who homeschools her family, expanded on each of the readings and shared several insights on the scriptures with us.

Once again, I must wholeheartedly thank Alice. We look forward to this new Lenten tradition!
