"Every time I see you that book is in your hand. What are you reading?" asked Maximilian.
"I am reading French Women Don't Get Fat
"What's it about?" he asks.
"Well, honey, it is about why some women are fat and some are not."
So he tells me "Well, your only a little bit fat. Hmmmm. Not really fat. You look just like a regular mom."
I guess that's me 'a regular mom.' Thanks, Maximilian .

Kristina, ever since I first read this hilarious story, I meant to tell you one of my own.
About a year ago, people on the 4Real board were talking about a book called "Outsmarting the Midlife Fat Cell." Needless to say, I jumped on the bandwagon and bought it. One day, I was reading it upstairs in my room when Marie walked in.
"What's that you are reading, Mommy?" she asked.
"It's 'Outsmarting the Midlife Fat Cell,' honey," I said.
She looked interested and wanted to hear more: "So, what's 'The Midnight Fatso' about?"
: ) : ) : )
Meredith - The book is basically a memoir detailing how the author took off her weight gained as an exchange student and has stayed slim since. The only skincare advice is to drink lots of water and moisturize.
Alice - Marie's "Midnight Fatso" question had me giggling outloud!
